Camborne, Tolvaddon: Business Park Waiting Restrictions.
Consultation has concluded
Outcome
Thank you for taking part in the recent statutory consultation regarding the above proposals. I am writing to inform you of the outcome.
No representations were received from members of the public. Illogan Parish Council submitted an objection; however, it appeared to relate to a separate location. This matter was clarified with the Parish Council, and no further action was required.
Following due consideration of the consultation responses, and with the approval of the Highways Manager, it has been resolved to proceed with the scheme as advertised.
As this is a developer-led scheme, we are not in a position to confirm a programme for implementation at this stage. The new waiting restrictions will come into force only once all necessary on-site works have been completed and the associated Traffic Regulation Order is enacted.
We are proposing to add additional waiting restrictions in Tolvaddon Business Park.
What are we consulting on?
Improvement works have been agreed between a developer and Cornwall Council in connection with the construction of a new access serving a commercial development at Tolvaddon Business Park.
This scheme proposes to amend existing parking restrictions so that they extend into the entrance of the new access.
Why are we doing this?
Extending the restrictions in this way will prevent vehicles from parking in locations where they could obstruct visibility or restrict safe and efficient movement of traffic accessing or leaving the new development.
