Important Information

• Any entry must be your original work, and it must not infringe the rights of third parties including copyright, trademark, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, personal or proprietary rights. You agree to indemnify the Council against any claim from any third party for any breach of this clause. 
• Designs generated by Artificial Intelligence will not be considered. The use of Artificial Intelligence in manipulating designs is disallowed. 
• The design entry must not include any of the following: illegal activity, nudity or product advertising. 
• The Council reserves the right to refuse any entries from the Competition for any reason.
• You agree to grant the Council a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence of any intellectual property rights in the Competition entry to use, display, transmit, copy, edit, store, re-format and sub licence the Competition entry for any legitimate purposes, including but not limited to marketing, publicity, advertising and presentations. 
• All entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Council from any and all liability including but not limited to; liabilities, claims, loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense which may occur in connection with this Competition except in respect of such liability the Council is unable to lawfully exclude.
• The Council is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and will only use your personal information in accordance with these terms and conditions and the Council’s privacy policy which is available on the Council’s website at https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/the-council-and-democracy/website-help-and-information/privacy-policy/
• Your data will be kept securely in line with UK GDPR regulations, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Council’s privacy policy for a period of three (3) years. 
• Entrants who do not comply with these terms and conditions or attempt to interfere with the Competition in any way shall be disqualified.
• The information given in these terms and conditions is correct, but the Council reserves the right to change any of it without prior notice. 
• By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
• The Competition will be governed by English law and the jurisdiction of the English courts.  

A judging panel will select the winning designs. Once selected:

• Cornwall Council will arrange any necessary design enhancements to ensure artwork meets production and public display requirements.
• Production and installation will take place as soon as reasonably practical.
• Winning bus shelter designs will be installed within the relevant Go Cornwall operating area.
• Cornwall Council will use Go Cornwall's operating areas to determine installation boundaries. Where a winning design falls on an area boundary, Cornwall Council will make the final decision on location.

Winners will be notified by email and advised of the location of their installation. Winners may also be invited to attend a photo opportunity at the completed bus shelter or alongside the specially branded double decker bus.
