St Andrews Road Flooding

I have lived in the area of St Andrews Road for nearly seven years. There has always been flooding in the road near the duck pond entrance but it used to be a rare event - maybe a couple times a year in very heavy rain. Over the last few years in has become a much more frequent event (it is flooded today!) with the road covered at least twice a month. The flooding and resulting wave splashes from vehicles has damaged the road and pavement to the extent that it is now dangerous. Hopefully you can see from the attached photo it is difficult to see where the road and pavement boundaries are. The effects have even damaged the local driveways. Some of this is due to more severe rainfall but a lot is due to poor drainage in the area and blocked drains. It doesn't take much rain to flood the road now. I assume it is low on the list because of the low number of properties but it is dangerous for pedestrians and drivers and becoming a more frequent event,

This and other stories seem to me to demonstrate that the  lack maintenance on existing drainage and flood orevention schemes are the source of flooding risk and these should be sorted out before new schemes put in place - so that actual requirements could be properly determined.
