Dear Residents,
Based on the emails, letters, as well as the feedback collected from you via this platform, we have modified the planting design to reflect all views and create a space for everyone to enjoy. Please see the new map in the Documents section.
Many thanks once again for your contribution and support during this consultation period!
The Forest for Cornwall Team
The Forest for Cornwall is an ambitious project aiming to establish trees and woodlands with a key aim of contributing to our carbon neutral by 2030 challenge.
It’s our ambition to deliver a net gain in all forms of canopy cover throughout Cornwall and as such, under the Forest for Cornwall Programme umbrella, we have established a project named Trees for Cornish Towns. This project aims to increase the amount of quality urban green space immediately available to our residents (i.e. outside their front door or on their route to work).
By doing this, we hope to improve resident’s well being and encourage both recreation and healthy living in their immediate environment.
