What is Fal Rivers to Reef?

Fal Rivers to Reef is an exciting and ambitious project which aims to improve over 18,000 hectares of the much-loved Fal catchment alongside enhancing the iconic seas along Cornwall's south coast for nature and for people.

Fal Rivers to Reef has been co-developed with over 5,000 hectares of landowner engagement, including The National Trust, Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Westcountry Rivers Trust, local farmers, large landowners, community groups.

At sea we have led extensive engagement through the Cornwall Marine and Coastal Partnership and via our Fal & Helford SAC Estuary Officer.

    Farm Cluster Led
The programme is steered by a growing farm cluster, giving land managers a leading voice in shaping delivery. Their practical knowledge anchors the programme in economic reality and ecological ambition.

Why should I join the Fal Rivers to Reef Farm Cluster?

    Farmers deserve support.

The Farm Cluster brings people together to make farming more sustainable, productive, and profitable. It offers access to funding, workshops, and advice, while creating a space to share ideas and learn from others.
