Cornwall Council’s Forest for Cornwall Team is leading on the delivery of an ambitious flagship programme aimed at delivering 8000 hectares of new canopy cover across the county by 2030.

We are seeking candidates to fill a number of positions with different levels of seniority, in a growing team responsible for delivering the Forest for Cornwall programme.


Forest for Cornwall Programme Lead

£39,660 - £47,664 Subject to pay & grading review

The Forest for Cornwall Programme Lead will manage a dedicated team and be responsible for the delivery of the Forest for Cornwall Programme. The role will be responsible for developing and delivering a range of multi-stakeholder sub-projects, including projects on Council property such as the Council Farm estate.

Senior Programme Officer: Planting At Scale Role

£29,909 - £37,567 subject to pay & grading review

The Forest for Cornwall (F4C) Senior Programme Officer planting at scale role will work as a leading officer within the team. The role has particular responsibility for driving delivery of existing projects and developing new streams of activity within the programme with a focus on our activity with landowners, businesses and farmers. The role will also - working with the F4C lead - develop the forward programme, drawing on all possible partners and funding streams necessary for its success.

Forest for Cornwall Project Officer

£25,708-£32,798 subject to pay & grading review

The Forest for Cornwall (F4C) Project Officer role will work as part of a dedicated team responsible for the development and delivery of the Forest for Cornwall Programme providing environmental, habitat and tree canopy expertise to complement staff resources in the Environment Service. The role will be responsible for developing and delivering a range of projects and supporting resources across our own assets and in partnership to demonstrate both delivery and further potential by 2024

Project Development Officer

£22,669 - £27,514 subject to pay & grading review

The Project Delivery Officer will play a significant role in the delivery of strategic policy, projects and partnerships with the Forest for Cornwall team. The role will involve working with external and internal stakeholders to further the aims and objectives of the Environment and Connectivity Service and champion the natural environment for Cornwall.
