The scratch off permits seem to be nolonger available. And I keep getting pointed to some kind of online booking system which is just plain un navaigateable for a guy of my age . Can somebody tell me in simple terms just how I can get a short term parking permit to park outside my families home without incuring a penalty when an attempt at payment was made. But failed. Pleas simplify this. I have visited many towns across the UK and truro is by far the most pitifully ineffective system I have the misfortune of finding. Please make it user friendly as at the moment it just feels like entrapment.

Recently there has been a noticeable increase in the difficulty in finding a parking space in the TZ1 area. I have a few suggestions - 1) increase traffic warden patrols here, especially around 5pm when more non permit holders chance it knowing it’s unlikely they’ll get a ticket before 6pm. 2) change the 2 hr bays near hendra park to “2hr or TZ1” as locals have to park here and shuffle their cars every 2hrs into the next bay 3) combine TZ1 with less subscribed permit areas on certain streets.

after 10 years living in little castle st ,i find myself having to leave my home of truro ,born here 55 yrs ago .no residential parking anywhere near my street ,have been told by the council i can buy a season ticket for one of there car parks at over £1000 a year ,or i am to far away from residential spots.as a single working man i cannot afford these prices ,and now find it impossible to park ANYWHERE its very distressing ,or picking up yet one more parking ticket because your not sure of the signs or resrictions.to say the council look after local people is a joke .£1500 a year in council tax to pay more revenue in parking tickets with roads full of potholes .to my mind all visitors to truro should be made to park in designated car parks and any spaces be given to residents via a permit .sadly for now i have to leave the place i was born in ,all comments falling on deaf ears ,or a comment to please contact .........

TZ26- we haven't seen a traffic warden on this street for weeks! Does anyone actually check this road anymore?
