Communities working together to support each other

Lots of support groups, clubs and organisations had to change the way that they met or the way they provided support once lockdown and social distancing was announced. Many groups rose to the challenge to keep on supporting their communities.

Tell us your experiences of this. Were you part of a choir that quickly had to meet over zoom instead? Did your organisation quickly move to online deliveries or change the support they provided to solve a more pressing need?

What support is needed to make sure these groups are able to continue to help their community?

Lots of organisations in Cornwall also saw very quick changes to the way they had to work once lockdown was announced in March 2020. Some of these partnerships included adult social care quickly working more closely with NHS colleagues to make sure that people got the service they needed more quickly.

What partnerships did you see during the pandemic that helped improved people’s lives? Were you part of an organisation that teamed up with another to help the community?

Or, how could organisations work together more closely to improve services in Cornwall? What could other services learn from the good experiences that you had?
